Dear Primrose Families,

Welcome to Primrose Elementary School, the home of the Eagles! This promises to be an exciting year of growth and learning for all students. We are proud to be part of the Fontana Unified School District. We are focused on ensuring that all our students become the best readers, writers, and mathematicians that they can be! Please join us at Coffee with the Principal events so that we can share more about our academic and social-emotional goals. Our third, fourth, and fifth grade students participate in AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), a college and career readiness program that focuses on academic skills. Our whole school participates in PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports). You might also hear your children talk about Bucket Fillers. Our Bucket Filler philosophy is based on a book by Carol McCloud, Have You Filled a Bucket Today? In this book, students learn that everyone in the world has an invisible bucket that holds their good thoughts and feelings about themselves. By being kind and helpful, we will fill up our own buckets as well as our friends’ buckets. Our goal is to be true partners in education with our families, so please keep in touch!
